so, here i am... floor tickets... at a linkin park concert last night... other bands featured in this show... would be... Story of The Year... Hoobastank... and POD.... lets jus say... it fuking rocked.... lol... Story of the year pulled an awesome cover of Enter Sandman... and they sounded great with their own stuff.....

Hoobastank... wow... that guy can sing... lol... i mean sum ppl sound terrible live... but he jus made their music even better... and pulled a jk by singing sum song by Cindy loper (so im told... dont even kno who that is?... anywayz... sounds like a terrible name anywayz... lol)... but like... yea, they called it the best song in the world... and then proceeded to close their act with "Out of Control" which got the night started in the pits....

Then came on POD... altho they didnt sound as good as i expected them to.. they still rocked... with oldies like "Youth of the Nation", "Alive", "Ghetto", and "Southtown"... got the crowed really into it... and everyone was bouncing all over the place... by this time... myself and my friend Steve managed to mosh our way to the front of the floor... so we were only several meters away from the stage... in the best mosh pit of the whole building... and no jk.... the bands consistantly came over to congradulate us on our insanity... lol... anyaywz...

then on came linkin park... everything went into slow motion from there... it was fantastic... so surreal... the only bad part of the whole night... was the stench of everyones sweat combining... as well as the very much real dehydration... lol... i belive that they were also filming for one of hteir upcoming videos... or possibly new dvd?... not 100% on that... but they mentioned sumtin about filming us for a song... lol... meh, yea, theres no words to describe the pain my back and ribs are in right now... but sooo worth it... best concert ive seen yet... lol... i suggest if these guyz are hitting a town near u... u check it out!...

 

Well its been awhile, but I finally saw another concert. Evanescence was on their world tour, along with Finger Eleven and a newer up-and-coming band Seether. It was an AWESOME concert. Seether was great, one of my new fav bands, and I suggest everyone check out some of their songs... such as "Driven Under", "69 Tea", and "Fine Again". Sides them, I think that Finger Eleven put on the best show of the night. Thatz just my view though, as most were there for Evanescence who rocked non the less! I especially enjoyed the slower stuff, like, "One Thing" by Finger Eleven, and "My Immortal" by Evanescence, cuz got to see the whole Bell Centre light up with everyone holding their lighters! Anywayz, look for sum pictures to eventually be added to the site, once i get my film developed... thatz all for now!

 

I recently saw OLP in concert with my friends Adam and Linzy C. It was great! Finger 11 and Trailer Park Boyz opened for them. One of the finniest parts was when like Linzy threw my glow necklace thing into the crowd, I wonder what ever happened to it after. Anyway, it was awesoem when like everyone in the Bell Center started singing. If I can think of anything else, I'll be sure to add it.

 

 

 

 

Hey, this concert is the 11th of April. I'm also goin to this with Adam, we managed to get tickets on the floor. We've been waiting a long time for it, and now its so close, i really cant wait. I think that GOB and Swollen Members will be opening for her. Anyways, Ill let you kno how it was in a couple of weeks.

 

 

Oh man, this concert was great!!!... Swollen Members opened the show with a good performance... but they dont put the sound up too high for the first bands... so i figure if it was louder, they woulda been recieved a whole lot better by the fans, but the real fun started when GOB came out! They got everyone goin and jumping around lol, They did a great cover of Paint It Black by The Rolling Stones, and the fans went nutts when the Bassist of Simple Plan came up to do a song for them! After that was said and done, the Bell center containing about 15 500 people started chanting... AVRIL AVRIL AVRIL!!... lol... in like a french accent... it was halarious. Then like the wave started and it was goin round really good, u think that people could ever pull that off at a hockey game??...noooo... lolz... umm... ya me and Adam had like awesome spots, we were on the floor, like 8 feet from the stage... i figure thats why it was so good the concert like, cuz we were so close... Avril and her band did a almost perfect cover of Minority by Green Day... and the crowd sang back her hit I'm With You, and for the song complicated she had a guy and girl come up on stage to sing it with her, and the dude managed to mess up the song... lol... yea thatz it for now... laterz
